SWEET HOME ALABAMA

THE HIVE

Honey Bees work hard to pollinate crops and gather nectar for producing honey and pollen for feeding their young. If man practiced disclipline such as the honey bee ... our world would be a much better place. ~Brenda

  Apiary
Bee Yard for NUCs

Every day presents it's own adventure in the apiary. The bees are busy tending the hive, and we are busy studying them. The average worker bee's life is only 6 weeks long during  the nectar flow, and she produces  1/12th of a teaspoon of honey in her lifetime! That's amazing! The Queen can lay an average of 2000 eggs a day and can live two years plus. Male bees (DRONES) cannot sting you, (no stinger). Consider beekeeping...

Bee Keeper

My interest in the honey bee started as a child.  I hope to educate and encourage our grandchildren in becoming beekeepers one day.

Bee Keeper

I have a great passion for the amazing honey bee. God designed them so perfectly and  I hope to make a difference in the world by honoring this incredible insect. For now, I will study and work hard to protect honey bees and encourage others to do the same.
